ILLEGAL TIE-IN INTO OIL PIPELINE

In Fig. 1 shows the horizontal cross-section 3d assembly at different depths, obtained by processing the GPR profiles recorded during the GPR survey of the main pipeline to detect nonmetallic illegal taps into the pipe d = 720 mm with the depth of the upper edge of 1.8-1.9 m from the ground surface. Three-dimensional array is constructed on the basis of cuts on attribute "envelope signals." The provisions of GPR profiles are shown in Fig. 2 in the form of lines of light purple, found space frames are shown as the adjacency to the pipe of main pipeline.

For the detection of illegal connections to the non-metallic pipe d = 530mm from the top edge of the depth of 1.8-1.9 m from the ground surface was used three-dimensional analysis of the data obtained by processing a set of parallel GPR profiles, based on the attribute analysis of the field backscatter. As we used the value attribute of the local resonance spectrum of the diffracted signal in the reflection. We shall consider three-dimensional vertical cross-section assembly ZX (Fig. 3). The position on the GPR profiles of three-dimensional image of the assembly shown in light purple lines.

Figure 4 shows the cross section with the various provisions of the ZX axis Y. In places the presence of illicit connections to the main pipeline, the number of resonance peaks in the spectrum of the signal increases (red area on the sections). In the figure to the left - the cross-section where there is no tie-in, in the figure to the right - there is an illegal tie-in:
